A Christmas Video

Since we were wary of mailing gifts out of Argentina, we thought a cute little video was in order. 

The girls had so fun starring in their own show, & I had a blast revisiting my broadcasting skills that I tried so hard to hone back in my college days.  Once upon a time, I dreamed of being a news reporter.  (I’ll have to share a few of my news packages from college for kicks sometime).  I’m sure we’d all get a good chuckle.  But for now, I’ll present:

Christmas Festivities 2011

***** Is that Santa Claus?? *****

The company had their annual Christmas party out at Camp Kilgrumen the week before Christmas.  It was hot.  Very hot.  We were early, of course.  (My husband is always early).  The party started late.  (The Argentines are always late).  Therefore, we were out in the heat for at least 6 hours.  Way…too…long for my party doing capabilities. 

BUT…I survived. AND…the the girls met Papa Noel.   It was so funny - not quite the Santa Claus we were expecting.  After meeting him, AnnMarie was seriously concerned that the REAL Santa Claus wouldn’t visit little girls like her in Argentina.  I assured her that Papa Noel was only one of Santa’s hired helpers for parties such as these.  Carlie was a little on the scared side, so unfortunately, we didn’t get any pictures of her with the said Santa figure.

But one thing I can’t argue with - Argentines definitely know how to do desserts.

My Favorite Kind of News

Three days ago, this little piece of heaven joined the Wolfley family.

WELCOME to our new nephew Christian Gene Wolfley!!  Congratulations Clint, Katie, & Max.  He is so adorable, & we wish we could be there to see him in person.

Seeing his pictures made us even more excited for the upcoming birth of OUR new baby.  Yep, that’s right.  Baby #3 is on the way!! (I’m 3 months along now).  We are ALL so excited & can hardly wait to find out what we’re having next month.
